Terms of Service

1. Nature of the Service

Omedicas is an AI-powered interview preparation platform designed to help applicants improve communication, structure, and interview technique for medicine and dentistry.

The Platform:

• is educational only
• uses fictional interview scenarios
• does not provide medical education, clinical training, diagnosis, or advice

You must not rely on the Platform for real-world medical decision-making or patient care.

2. No Guarantee of Results

Use of the Platform does not guarantee:

• interview success
• university offers or admissions
• improved scores or outcomes

All results depend on individual performance and external factors beyond our control.

3. AI Limitations & Hallucinations

You acknowledge and agree that the Interviewer and Grader are Artificial Intelligence systems.

AI systems may:

• generate incorrect, incomplete, or misleading information ("hallucinations")
• provide inconsistent or subjective feedback
• misinterpret speech, responses, or engagement signals

All feedback, scores, and evaluations are indicative only.

Omedicas is not liable for:

• inaccuracies in AI-generated feedback
• errors in scoring or evaluation
• decisions or actions you take based on AI outputs

4. Accounts & Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity conducted under your account.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Age & Minors

The Platform may be used by individuals under the age of 18.

If you are under 18, you confirm that you have obtained permission from a parent or legal guardian to use the Platform.

Parents or guardians are responsible for the minor's use of the service.

6. Credits, Payments & Refund Waiver

By clicking "Pay" or "Purchase", you:

• expressly request immediate performance of the contract, and
• acknowledge that you lose your statutory 14-day right of withdrawal under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 once credits are delivered.

Refund Policy

• All purchases are final and non-refundable, including unused credits.
• Credits are consumed per interview.
• Credits expire 12 months from the date of purchase.
• Pricing may change for future purchases.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• use abusive, racist, threatening, or discriminatory language
• attempt to reverse-engineer, exploit, or misuse the Platform
• engage in behaviour that undermines platform integrity or safety

We reserve the right to immediately suspend or permanently terminate accounts, without refund, for any breach of this section.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses (including loss of interview opportunities or university places).
• Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
